"On a course with Rebbeca Campbell, I was guided in a meditation that took me to the great library of the Akashic records. In there I was guided to select ‘my book’. It was heavy and the cover was intricately engraved and ebossed pewter, silver or similar metal. The pages of the book were a slightly translucent, gossamer fine, almost like a very, very light, smooth to the touch tracing paper.
I heard the name Orelia, my guide for that session, I intuited. A small, but powerful elemental I decided was to whom this name belonged.
 
Afterwards, I looked up the name and discovered that it meant ‘Golden’, or ‘The Golden One’. As all the illustrations in this collection have a golden appearance, I decided to name this poetry and art collection after Orelia and thus so, The Orelium was born!
 
I truly love this collection of work. It is so light hearted and fun, yet also carries some deeper, more ethereal and spiritual overtones too.

The series of artworks for The Orelium was created during Inktober 2022, and similary to how her first book Raising Violet came into being. As some of them naturally arrived with their own verses, Heather decided to write poems to accompany each illustration and present them in a beautiful, 80 page, hardbacked book offering for you to keep!
